I can tell that there's a lot you can do with this and that it can be very complex but doesn't need to be if you don't want it to. Although I have a good opinion of Drupal I am not sure that having to administer a Drupal site along with an UberCart install would be the best thing for me at this time. From my experience, Drupal takes such as long time to learn and administer that it can become very time comsuming.
